Junior Designer

 

We’re looking for a hungry junior designer to join our quickly expanding team. But hold on, before you reach for your CV and portfolio you should hear us out first.

 

Custard is a small creative agency founded mid 2011 by one of the Australia’s most awarded digital Creative Directors. Set up to offer clients access to a group of digital specialist it has already began working with brands such as Rebel Sport and 9MSN, as well as a number of other client that are on the boil. So don’t let its size and age fool you, it packs a pretty big punch.

 

We’re not after just any junior fresh out of college, we’re after people that have an uncanny passion for all aspects of design, you need to be able to think about solutions and be able to coherently discuss why you believe a solution is right… an opinion at Custard goes a long way – but maybe not as far as our CD’s :) .

 

Here’s the rub! We’re looking for someone that is realistic about a juniors positioning the design food chain, like all junior positions there’s a large component of getting down and dirty helping implement other peoples art directions whilst adding a little of your own creative flair wherever you can. But as far as we’re concerned we’re not looking for someone that stops there, we’re hoping to find someone that won’t stay a junior for long.

 

Our business is created around thinkers not just doers, everyone we want within the business has to be able to add value, from Creatives to Project Managers to the Tea lady, everyone should have an opinion and a voice within our business.
