Train to perform

Overview

As part of Rebels annual Performance campaign, we presented a strategy to re-engage runners with the Rebel brand. The Train to perform portal was created to support Repel Sport’s ongoing commitment to the running fraternity no matter what level they are. Whether you’re training for your first city-to-surf or just staying fit running a few times a week, the train to perform website is designed to give you the right information to help you to reach your running goals.

 

We understand there are many factors that influence an individuals training regime. Information, tips and tools are key in ensuring people don’t over commit or under commit to a training program based on their ability and fitness level. By drawing on Rebels partners we are able you aggregate content from many different respected sources. This content is filtered and then relevant content is displayed to users based on their fitness and running profiles. The site was created to have little if no content management or content creation by the team at Rebel.

 

Phase 2 of the project will see the inclusion of social mechanics that drive the ability to create training groups and leverage the social aspect of training for events. It will also allow us to send targeted marketing and promotions depending on the average lifespan of members’ running shoes compared to the amount of running being done.
